NYC : Which hotel? Long Island City’s La Quinta Inn or Country Inn?
They’re the same price.

What kind of neighborhood is this? From your personal experience or knowledge, which is better?
And please just answer the question. If you have additional input about either of these (and just these please), then I really appreciate it.
The La Quinta in is a better bet for the neighborhood, you are right across the street to the “7″ Train and there are many cabs even at night in the area. You are also 2 blocks away from a 24 hours McDonalds and a few more blocks from a Seven Eleven and a few more restaurant within ten streets. The interior is okay.
The Country Inn is nicer though because it’s newer, it is also two blocks from the “7″ Train and the “N” train. The area is quieter but less places to eat or things to do.
Both are 15-20 minutes into 42nd Street via “7″ Train. “N” Train 15 minutes to 59th Street or Central Park
Both are in safe neighborhoods.

Valentine’s getaways perfect for two
From Feb. 11-14, Sooke Harbour House — a charming 28-room inn on Vancouver Island — has a Romantic by Essence package that provides two nights’ accommodations, a three-course gourmet dinner for two on the night of your choice, and two hot breakfasts for two.
Finding a good inexpensive La Quinta Hotel Nyc should not be a gamble. The best way to find a good La Quinta Hotel Nyc is to go to a place you have been before, but assuming that is not an option the next best thing is from someone who has been there.
